Basal
Cell Carcinoma
Basal Cell Carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer -
several times more common than malignant
melanoma. Basal cells are found in the deepest layer of
the epidermis. Diagnosis is carried out with a biopsy and can
be easily treated if diagnosed early.
Basal cell carcinoma is caused by sun exposure. So if you
are light skinned or spend a lot of time outside you are at most
risk.
